Scheduled License-to-Carry Course

This 4-hour course qualifies you for the Texas Department of Public Safety License to Carry a handgun.

The course covers laws related to carrying a firearm in the state of Texas.  The shooting qualification will be 50 rounds in total.

You will be required to bring to class:

  • A minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition.
    (It is advised to bring more in case re-taking the shooting qualification is necessary.)
  • A firearm, either revolver or automatic.
    (Must be .22 caliber or higher.)
  • Long pants, closed-toed shoes, a collared shirt, and a hat.
  • Eye & hearing protection.

A firearm can be rented for $40.00 if needed.  Ammunition can be purchased on the website by clicking here: AMMO.

Long-Range Marksmanship Course

This course will have you zero at 100 yards then you will correct with your turrets out at different ranges. There will be no Kentucky windage in this course you will learn how to adjust with your turrets.$100.00 per person. You will learn how to read Minute Of Angle (MOA) over distance. You will shoot at 100yards then correct using MOA out to 500 yards.  Never worry about making the ethical shoot again.

  • Rental fee is $80.00 for a firearm

  • Optics (MRAD/MOA)
  • (If you wear glasses BRING THEM!!)
  • Course requires a minimum round of at least .308 to take this course
  • The course requires you to know the bullet weight, the velocity at the muzzle, and ballistic coefficient of the round

Advanced Pistol Course

$80.00 per person, $10.00 range fee per person. Rental fee is $60.00 for a firearm.150 rounds, ear, and eye protection, 2 mags, pistol cleaning kit. The course is 2 hours.

Per-Participant

We charge $100.00 for a security consult and evaluation of your Institution. The Evaluation fee will be waived if your church decides to train your staff. Upon completion, I will issue an A.E.P. certificate to the church which may be used for your insurance. We will work with your school administration to make sure every one of the armed teachers are 100% legally carrying their firearm in accordance with state laws and regulations. THIS IS NOT A “SECURITY” CERTIFICATION OR LICENSE.

This is a 4 day/ 32-hour course

From 0800 – 1700

With one hour for lunch

Beginning on Jan. 1, 2017, the standard mileage rates for the use of a car (also vans, pickups or panel trucks) will be 53.5 cents per mile for business miles driven, down from 54 cents for 2016. 17 cents per mile driven for medical or moving purposes, down from 19 cents for 2016.

My mileage charge will be $.50 per mile and the cost of lodging. The cost of lodging will be put into the bill based on the average cost in the local area for the number of days that the instructor will be on sight.  The shooting portion may be done at our private range unless the education facility has the ability to provide a location for the range portion.

Basic Firearm Course

This 4hr course is for men, women, or children that have little to no knowledge of basic firearm use. This course will include proper grip, trigger squeeze, sight alignment, sight picture, and the basic function of a firearm.

Husbands who want there wife to feel a little more comfortable with the firearms in your home or you have never owned a firearm and are getting one for protection this is the class for you. If your child is getting to the point where they need to know how to handle a firearm a little better than this is the course for you.

$65.00 is for the 7 or larger group course.
$80.00 for the Family class of 4-6 people
$100.00 for private classes from 1-3

This course requires one firearm with 100 rounds of ammunition each. If the student does not have a firearm they can be provided for a rental fee of $40. All ammunition will have to be provided by the student and can be purchased here on the AMMO tab.

Must be at least 5 years of age for this course. All children under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Emergency Response Church Team

The sad reality is that churches, synagogues, or school of any kind are not safe from attack. We will train you to defend your school or place of worship.

Upon completion, I will issue an E.R.T. certificate to the church which may be used for your insurance. THIS IS NOT A “SECURITY” CERTIFICATION OR LICENSE.

NRA Basic Pistol Course

Description

A pistol, or handgun, is a firearm designed to be fired while being held in one hand. While such firearms are small and compact, they can be the hardest to learn.

The Basic Pistol course can be as short as ten hours. In it students will get the NRA’s The Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook and intensive lessons in safety, gun handling, the various types of pistols, the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, various pistol firing positions, several practical exercises on the firing range, cleaning, storage, and a summary of pistol sports and activities.

Patrol Rifle Course

This course will bring you to the next level of Black Gun shooting.

You may use any black gun platform.  You may also rent a rifle from us.

Make sure your firearm has some kind of sighting platform, whether an optic or iron sights.  We will shoot from prone, standing, kneeling and moving positions throughout the day.  If you have a back, knee, or hip injury, please inform your instructor so that they may tailor the course to your ADA needs.
